Vetiver Absolute/ Ruhkhus (Green) Oil is extracted from the roots of Vetiver by hydro distillation extraction method. It is also known as "Oil of Tranquility". It has got amazing anti-septic properties and widely used to treat minor cuts and wounds. Due to its pleasing aroma, it is also used in the production of various perfumes and scented products. Moreover, this absolute oil has soothing and calming effect on mind and used to treat stress and anxiety.

Method of Extraction & Part of Plant Used	It is extracted through the hydro distillation extraction method from the roots of Vetiver.
Properties	It is a clear viscous liquid having a yellow brown color.
Aroma	It has woody odor.
Integrants	The main chemical components of this absolute oil are Vetiverol, Vitivone and Vetivenes.
Therapeutic Properties	The therapeutic properties of this absolute oil are anti-parasitic, antispasmodic, antiseptic, depurative, nervine, emmenagogue, rubefacient, stimulant, sedative, tonic and vermifuge properties.
Blends Well With	Vetiver Absolute particularly blends well with the other oils like clary sage, Bergamot, litsea cubeba, black pepper, eucalyptus citriodora, coriander, cassie, ginger, grapefruit, geranium, lavender, lemon, jasmine and many more.
Precautions	Woman during their pregnancy phase should avoid this absolute oil.
