Method of Extraction & Part of Plant Used	Orange essential oil is extracted by cold-pressing of orange peel.
Properties	It is yellow to orange in color. It has watery viscosity.
Aroma	It has fresh, sweet scent.
Integrants	The main constituents of this oil are geranial, a-pinene, myrcene, sabinene, linalool, limonene, neral and citronellal.
Therapeutic Properties	The therapeutic properties of this oil are carminative, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-depressant, antispasmodic, diuretic, cholagogue, sedative and tonic.
Blends Well With	Orange essential oil mixes well with vetiver, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, frankincense, ginger, and sandalwood oil.
Precautions	Orange essential oil has shown phototoxic properties. It should not be used in sunlight.
