Armoise oil is extracted by the steam distillation process from the pure leaves of Armoise. This oil is widely used for the treatment of neuralgia, rheumatism and arthritis. This oil is used for killing the worms present in the intestine. Due to its fresh aroma it is preferred for aromatherapy.  It has also the properties of insomnia and anaesthetic. The history of Armoise oil dates back to the time Greek mythologies. Armoise name was derived from the name of Artemisia, who was the wife and sister of Greek king Mausolus. Since the ancient this oil has been used as a remedy against the worms in the intestines, and because of this property this oil is also known as “wormwood”. This oil was at that time and now also, as an active ingredient in many herbal medicines that helps in improving the digestive system and making it perfectly functional.
