Origin	The plant mainly originates in Malaysia and India. It is used to get rid of bedbugs in east.
Method of Extraction & Part of Plant Used	This Oil is extracted from dried and fermented leaves by the steam distillation.
Properties	Patchouli Essential Oil is a thick oil and has light yellow to dark brown color.
Aroma	This Oil has strong spicy and musk sweet aroma.
Integrants	The main constituents of this Oil are a-guaiene, patchouli alcohol pogostol, a-patchoulene, a-bulnesene, caryophyllene, seychellene, b-patchoulene and norpatchoulenol.
Therapeutic Properties	The therapeutic properties shown by Patchouli Essential Oil are cicatrisant, astringent, cytophylactic, anti-depressant, diuretic, deodorant, tonic, insecticide, fungicide, antiphlogistic and febrifuge.
Blends Well With	Patchouli Essential Oil mixes well with myrrh, bergamot, clary sage, geranium, and lavender oil.
Precautions	This Oil leads to loss of appetite.
