Origin	Lemongrass oil is originally grown in India. It is derived from the perennial grass which is aromatic.
Method of Extraction & Part of Plant Used	This oil is extracted from dried leaves by using the method of steam distillation.
Properties	It has watery viscosity. It is dark yellow to amber and reddish in color.
Aroma	It has a very sweet and lemony smell.
Integrants	This oil is composed of nerol, geraniol, myrcene, citronellal, geranyl acetate, neral and traces of limonene and citral.
Therapeutic Properties	Antimicrobial, Antipyretic, Antidepressant, Carminative, Antiseptic, Analgesic, Bactericidal, Diuretic, Deodorant, Astringent, Febrifuge, Insecticidal, Galactogogue, Sedative, Tonic, Nervine and Fungicidal
Blends Well With	You can easily mix this lemongrass oil with basil, Cedar wood, coriander, geranium, jasmine, lavender and tea tree.
Precautions	As lemongrass oil is a skin irritant, it should be completely avoided during pregnancy.
