This oil is extracted through the extensive method of steam distillation from the fresh flower of anthemis nobilis which belongs to the Asteraceae family.  It is also famous by the name of sweet chamomile, garden chamomile and English chamomile.  In ancient time the Egyptians people used it as an herb in curing the fever and nervous related complaints.  They also used it in perfumes, cosmetics and shampoos. This plant is mainly cultivated in the place of Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco and France. It comes in clear light blue color and having a very sweet apple like aroma.
