The main components of Myrrh oil are m-cresol, limonene, a-pinene, cadinene, cuminaldehyde, eugenol, formic acid, heerabolene, acetic acid and various sesquiterpenes.

METHODS OF EXTRACTION

It is extracted from oleoresin-gum by the process of steam distillation.
