Litsea cubeba essential oil is extracted from the fruits of Litsea cubeba plants that are found in the tropical areas. It is an evergreen plant of 5 to 12 meters high. It is also known as Atayal aborigines in Taiwan and mountain pepper in Maqaw and Mandarin.  This oil can also be extracted from the leaves of Litsae cubeba of low quality.
