Lavender T is extracted through the steam distillation process from the flowers of Lavandula officinalis. It is an evergreen plant which has gray green colored leaves. It is yellow to pale yellow colored liquid insoluble in water. It has an attractive fresh woody aroma.  Similar to other essential oil, it is not a pure compound. It is made up of phytochemicals, linalyl acetate and linalool. Bulgaria is the biggest producer of this natural oil.

 

Due to attractive fresh aroma, Lavender T is widely used in the production of different perfumes and aromatherapy for the treatment of various diseases. It has a calming effect on mind which aids in the reduction of stress and anxiety. When rubbed or diluted on the skin, this oil can help in relieving headache and tension. It is equally helpful in the treatment of respiratory infection and cough.
