Carrot seed oil is extracted from dried seed of wild carrot by the method of Cold Pressed. Its botanical name is Daucus carota. The leaves of this carrot are oblong in shape and are actually an annual herb. It’s usually 2 feet high, furrowed and tough. This soil has the rich extracts of vitamin A and carotene which are very good for gums, hair and skin.

The main chemical composition of carrot seed oil includes camphene, a-pinene, b-bisabolene, b-pinene, y-terpinene, sabinene, geranyl acetate, myrcene, limonene, and carotol.

Carrot seed oil is extracted from the dried seeds of wild carrots through the process of cold pressing extraction method.

USES

Facial Moisturizer: Mix a few drops of carrot seed oil in your regular cream or face pack and apply over face to attain a radiant look whilst maintaining moisture content. Skin Care: Mix 10-15 drops of carrot seed oil with other carrier oil (Olive or Sesame Seed) and massage this solution over your full body to avail healthy looking and moisturized skin. Hair Care: Take 4-5 drops of carrot seed oil over your palm and mix it with your regular hair oil. Thoroughly apply this mixture over your scalp and hair to maintain moisture and strengthen hair root. Aromatic Bath: Add 2-4 drops of carrot seed oil in a bucket containing lukewarm water. Bathing in this water will effectively rejuvenate body and mind for a comfortable and relaxed feel. Aches/Sprain/Swelling: Take a bowl containing hot or cold water. Add 8-10 drops of carrot seed oil in it (1 drop for 100 ml). Soak a cloth in this water and squeeze it. Place the cloth over the affected area for around 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times a day. Note: Use cold for sprains &headache and hot water for muscular aches. Burners and Vaporizers: Put 2-4 drops of carrot seed oil in vaporizer to evolve fresh and fragrant fumes that lend a calming effect in interiors for rejuvenating mind and body.
