Angelica Plant is a perennial and biennial plant having a ferny leaves and beautiful white or greenish white flowers. This plant can grow up to the height of 1-3 feet tall and blooms in the month of June to August. Its species are specially grown for flavoring agents and for medicinal purposes.  It is also identified by the names of Holy Spirit, Archangel Root, Holy Ghost and Oils of Angles.

METHODS OF EXTRACTION

Steam distillation method is used to obtain this oil from the dried roots, seeds and rhizomes of the Angelica plant.

PRECAUTIONS

This oil is non toxic in nature but after applying it on the skin, you should avoid coming on the strong sunlight for up to 12 hours. Women should avoid using this oil during their pregnancy stage.
