Lavender Bulgarian oil is extracted from the natural and pure flowers of Lavender Bulgarian through the steam distillation process. It is an evergreen shrub up to one meter high with violet blue flowers and pale green colored leaves. It is commonly found in the dry climate and originated from the western half of Mediterranean. It was introduced by the Benedictine monks and Romans subsequently.

 

Lavender Bulgarian oil has amazing analgesic, anti-depressant, anti-convulsive, anti-phlogistic, antiseptic, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, bactericide, antiviral, cicatrisant, carminative, cholagogue, cytophylactic, cordial and decongestant properties. It has analgesic and antiseptic properties due to which it is used for the treatment of burn and skin infection. Moreover, it has a soothing effect on mind due to which it is used to treat anxiety and stress.

 

 

Lavender Bulgarian oil has a rich floral aroma due to which it is widely used in the perfume and cosmetic industry. It is also used in various aromatherapy treatments. The main chemical components of lavender oil are a-pinene, 1, 8-cineole, limonene, trans-ocimene, cis-ocimene, camphor, linalool, linalyl acetate, 3-octanone, terpinen-4-ol, caryophyllene and lavendulyl acetate. This natural essential oil blends particularly well with cedar wood, geranium, clary sage, nutmeg, pine and all the citrus oils.
