The agarwood attar is the most expensive attar as compared to the other attars because it is formed by the resin of agarwood tree which is very rarely found. This traditional perfume oil has acquired great cultural as well as pious significance since the ancient civilization. It is also known by the different names of agarwood, Eaglewood, Oudh and aloeswood. To obtain the pure form of agarwood attar it blends with the pure essential oil of sandalwood.

INTEGRANT

It comprises the chemical composition of eudesmol, a-agarofuran, oxo-agarospirol, Chamazulene, Bisabolol oxide A, Bisabolone oxide A , Bisabolol oxide B and a-bisabolol.

METHODS OF EXTRACTION

It is obtained through the dried woods of old wood plant. The traditional method of Hydro-Distillation is used for extraction process.
